this week i was interviewed by felicity ford for her knitsonik podcast (i’ll let you know where you can hear that when it’s ready), about framework, it’s long history, and our recent framework500 celebratory project. this reminded me that i had one long overdue framework:ephemera project to finish up, begun over a year ago during a visit to the uk, when i had the privilege of visiting felicity in her studio in reading, and talking to her about some sound selections of her own. i went back to the interview and discovered, luckily, that there was nothing too time sensitive about what we’d recorded (aside from missing out our newest broadcast station, radio free in ulm, germnay, from the station announcements – sorry, ulm!), so here, finally, are felicity’s choices and thoughts, as recorded in march, 2014.

felicity is probably framework‘s most prolific and enduring contributor, having made countless shows for us over the years, stretching so far back in our history that a few of them aren’t even online yet (we’ve only got back as far as 2007). she also, of course, appears on our new framework500 release, celebrating our 500th edition, which aired in february. framework500 remains available in exchange for your generous donation of 40€ of more via the donation buttons on the right – order yours now!
