This radio show was produced as research/preparation for a forthcoming presentation by Prof. Paul Whitty, Dr Felicity Ford and Andrea Zarza Canova at the British Forum for Ethnomusicology’s forthcoming annual conference. Their joint presentation will relate specifically to “Making Sonic Time Capsules”, and many of the ideas in this radio show were developed through discussions between Whitty, Ford, and Zarza Canova regarding Sonic Time Capsules.

  1. Just been catching up & have listened to this framework:afield show – & though i find them all to be great shows, one of the beauties of framework that you alternate with these 55min long sonic explorations that vary in subject matter so much – I particularly found this one to be brilliant. Wonderfully mixed / edited by Felix. With range of really thoughtful questions. I think one reason I have liked this particular show so much is that it has chimed with one of my current preoccupations re creating new archives.

Many thanks to Dr Felicity Ford & of course Patrick for continuing to put framework out.
