greetings this week from torún, poland, where i’ve been giving a site-specific sound workshop with latvian artist maksims shentelevs at the centre for contemporary art (http://www.csw.torun.pl). if you happen to be in the area, there will be a performance this thursday, at 8:30pm, in which our workshop group will be playing the building itself, after which max and i will be performing a collaborative set with members of local sound collective hati. if you’re nearby please come by and say hello! entrance is free…
meanwhile this week we heard sounds by artists from the uk, siberia, switzerland via japan, the u.s. and germany, italy, and spain. the material was collected in france, the show mixed in estonia, and the final broadcast made from here in poland. a very international edition indeed…
