this edition of framework:afield has been produced in seattle, u.s. by steve peters, and features the seattle phonographer’s union. for more info see http://www.seapho.org. steve says:

The Seattle Phonographers Union is a collective of artists from various backgrounds who improvise live with unprocessed field recordings. This edition of Framework features unreleased solo works by ten individual members of the group, none of which adhere to the strict limitations of our live performances; field recordings are here freely mixed with musical instruments and subjected to all forms of electronic manipulation and editing, while long crossfades often blur the lines between one piece and the next.
