in this edition we heard some great new sounds from none other than our illustrious co-founder, mr joel stern, along with loren chasse, from joel’s own naturestrip label. two fine, fine albums. this mingled with sounds of empty spaces recorded by noid, and the latest collection of untreated field recordings from gruenrekorder by tobias bolt. next week will be another regular edition, featuring, i might add in a smattering of self-promotion, the first document of a project i’ve been working on over the last few years with the likes of john grzinich, yannick dauby, olivier feraud, and hitoshi kojo - revenant:topolo will be released at the beginning of december on eric cordier‘s prele label here in france (more info at http://www.prelerecords.com and http://www.revenantsound.net).
