This edition of Framework focuses on the output of Wandering Ear, a
Minneapolis-based net label co-curated by Nathan Larson and Mike
Hallenbeck (the latter of whom assembled this broadcast). The sounds lead
us across the planet– from a mosque in Istanbul, to the coast of
Australia, to a salt mine in Romania, to the rain forest of Brazil. Also
featured are a couple of offerings from “Melt: Minnesota Remixed”, a
collection of works derived from tracks on Wandering Ear’s debut release
“Thaw: Field Recordings from Minnesota” (aired previously on Framework).
